Frequent messaging can be a sign that your friend is interested in you romantically, especially if they often initiate the conversation. And while texts aren’t a sure way to gauge someone’s interest, they can give some helpful hints as to whether your friend likes you through texting. Sure, it’s possible that you really did pick the wrong person to date, and your friend is merely concerned about your happiness.
Big, showy gestures have their place (we’re never going to complain if a guy sweeps us off to Paris on a mini-break…), but when a girl wants to show that she likes someone, it’ll be through the little details rather than anything grand. And she won’t just listen to reply like many people do in casual conversation, her responses will be thoughtful, show interest, and make you feel listened to. Perhaps not straight away, but as you get to know each other and feel more comfortable talking about things, she may direct the conversation to topics that show a level of intimacy or vulnerability. If you’ve mentioned the name of your aunt’s dog or your little brother’s birthday and she remembers, that’s proof she’s hanging on your every word and is genuinely interested in what you’re telling her, rather than zoning out. If her shoulders are square on to you, she’s really focusing her attention on you.
One of the best ways to avoid the possibility of rejection is to make sure that the girl you’re asking on a date likes you, too. Of course, this can be tricky, since girls aren’t always upfront with their feelings. Like we said, they expect the guy to be the one to initiate conversation, so the chances of them just coming right out and saying they are interested in you are pretty slim. Every once in a blue moon you may have a girl who flirts with you first, and even more rarely a girl may invite you to attend an event with her, but she still won’t usually call it a date. In the end, you could still be left wondering if she really likes you, or if she is just being friendly.
And while rejecting your friend’s romantic advance saves you from the possibility of breaking up later, it still has the potential to damage, or even end, your friendship. Sadly, the classic line—“I don’t want to ruin our friendship”—can ring hollow to someone who truly likes (or maybe even loves) you. If your friend straight up tells you that they like you, take it seriously. Even if you don’t like them back, have a talk with them and let them know, in no uncertain terms, how you feel. You might be worried that you’ll lose their friendship, but it’s better than stringing them along and making them think they have a chance with you.
She playfully hits me, is nervous when she’s around me, and it seems like she forgets what she wanted to tell me sometimes. When we’re out, she constantly tells me to feel her hand because it’s cold. I may be looking too much into this, but I want to make sure the signs I’m seeing are somewhat true before I make a move.
I don’t have her number or any social medias because I’m scared to ask and even if I do get it I don’t know what to say except asking for help in homework. My friend always takes my stuff like my phone and drum sticks. She always likes to mess with me. But she dose it to other people to.
How a girl acts around you says a lot about how she feels. Still, a lot of men are clueless when it comes to decoding a girl’s actions. Luckily, you don’t need to be a psychology expert to find out if a girl has feelings for you. Here are 30 obvious signs to tell if a girl likes you. This is a really great article.
If she sends you selfies, and responds quickly to your messages, and asks you a bunch of follow-up questions, chances are that’s a surefire sign for how to tell if a girl likes you. After all, no one is that interested in what kind of sandwich you had for lunch unless there’s a romantic appeal there. And if she sends you an emoji like 😘, she is hurling a handkerchief straight at your face. Be aware. This is as general as it gets, and still, it’s incredibly important. If all you focus on is what’s going on inside your head, or your own feelings and reactions when you interact with a girl, then you will never develop a reliable “feel” for the situation, and the beautiful human being you have in front of you. The direct approach might seem like a good idea, but asking if she’s interested in you isn’t being direct — it’s seeking validation.
This is a pretty big deal, actually, and one of the easiest ways to tell that a girl is into you. If she leads on or hints that she is single, it’s because she wants you to ask her out. She has no other reason to divulge to you her relationship status, besides to let you know that she is available and looking to date.
I haven’t seen her act the way she does around other guys. I asked her to hangout once and she said yes. She brought a friend but she said she was fine if it was just her and I. When I was hanging out with them, a girl I know passed by and I told them that I knew them.
